For this site? Are we in R&S the "Red-headed step-Children" of the forum? OH well it works for us for I believe that somehow we have formed a community in spite of or because of our faiths and feelings.

And to whoever gets their kicks feel free to report me. I feel so loved as I just received my daily "Violation Notice" Seems someone is hunting for things to report.ROFL

I placed Atheist and Agnostic thusly due to lack of space and I did not want to say "Those of no faith" as to imply something is lacking.

I agree with you. I think that we might be called a dysfunctional family at times, but we are still a family.

Peace and blessings to all!

We probably aren't. I'm sure they thought everyone would be able to exchange ideas and information without resorting to name calling. While there are many regulars I really like and respect, there are others who ask questions just to try to provoke anger and report anything that doesn't echo their beliefs. While I do like our little community, I'd like to see a lot less spiteful reporting and from Yahoo someone who actually reads appeals and takes into consideration who actually did the reporting. Did you know that you can have the status of "Top Reporter"? I doubt they give you a nice little banner, but I can just imagine someone who wields no power in real life jumping on that little opportunity.

Sadly, they didn't have anyone in mind, they really don't care who populates this site as long as a) said populace generates hundreds of thousands of pages of content for its search engine; and b) they don't have to moderate it and c) they earn millions of advertising dollars by placing ads here.

Like the Gap ad, which made it clear where Yahoo's interest lies.

We may be the "Redheaded step children" of YA but we are one spirited, feisty, intelligent group. We are all brothers and sisters in this forum. Sure, we love a good spat. In the end, like all siblings, we will stand together.

Amen!

Yahoo has one thing in mind and it has nothing to do with R&S nor the actual questions and answers.

Does it matter?

And one comment. You seem to combine Atheist and Agnostic under ONE heading.

To be logical about it -- ALL an agnostic is, isone who does not KNOW if a personal God exist.

NO ONE does. Thus we are all agnostics.

A Christian Agnostic

This is the most active page on Y/A without it, it would be boring
