Jesus (I'm just going to go on the premise that he existed instead of going down that road) never said that he was going to eliminate evil or suffering in the world. According to the literature I've seen (and I'm no expert, so correct me if I'm wrong), he talked about how his people should live (the Jews, his people) and how they should treat each other, and how they would be rewarded in the afterlife, *if* they believed what he was telling them. It does not follow that this behaviour on his part would eliminate evil nor suffering in the world. I don't think that was the plan.

Yes and Adam ate it too, that is how come sin is in the world. That is the cause of all bad that's here. Bible quotes are not BS.

You would not have to ask this question, if you read the Bible. I suggest a New Living Translation, it is written in plain modern English. The answers are there for the reading. Then you won't have to rely on others opinions of the truth.

Why should anyone believe in the lie that was brought on because as He was He would not be accepted? Miracle worker yes, but being able to change His hair grade, His skin color, His eye color, denounce His religion, change His name AND his parents AND His disciples names as well? Maybe in this modern age He could have done the physical changes but back then, NO! A whole NEW person was created and until that base untruth is made right no one should be expected to believe.

Hell is on earth.

The source of evil and suffering does not come from God. It comes from a real spiritual being called the devil. No this is not your ex-wife or a mother in law. This is the one who is the most rebellious.

If you read the Bible correctly, you will find that God is not moved by human need. Then what is He moved by? FAITH! Faith in God is what pleases Him the most. To believe him without seeing Him is what makes Him the most happiest.

Human suffering and evil comes from the devil. Hell was not created for ANY human spirit. It was only created for the devil and the host of rebellious fallen angels. Man kind sends himself to hell when he/she engages in rebellion to God's word.

The only suffering that is allowable in scriptures are only two:

1- Persecution
2- Doing things for God that you would rather not do, or that would cause you to be uncomfortable.

Hope this answer is applied to YOUR everyday life.

evil and suffering are the opposite of his plan from creation...and so is sin, the opposite....so lets put these two ideas together to understand that NEITHER ARE FROM GOD!

it will come to an end when he comes to earth and judges the world (people) in righteousness....this "evil/suffering" you detest is what he is coming to judge...SIN....and if you arent right with God, forgiven by his son..you should not delay....time is running out!

Free will, and we live in a fallen world. Jesus can help, and does help if you let Him. Most of the world chooses not to. Then blames God for their problems.

the paradigm is useful but I don't believe in the fabled and formal religious version myself and wouldn't expect any well educated person to have such a childlike view of life.Yet they sometimes do anyway . peace to you too.
