So i have been going out with my boyfriend for 5 months but there are a couple problems so i don't know if i should break up with him, i really like him but (1) his name is mackenzie so i get made fun of a lot by my friends because it is a "girl" name but he goes by mack (2) its been 5 months and we kissed once (only 2 weeks ago) and it was not romantic and it was really fast (3) he kissed another girl once before he kissed me while we were going out. he kissed her on a dare by his friend and i wasn't there but his freind told me cuz he was mad at him and it made me upset but when i finally asked him about it he at least admitted to it and said he was sorry but it still bothers me sometimes. So i don't know if we really have a working relationship, we talk on the phone and hangout all the time but it doesn't really feel like we're going out cuz he hasn't kissed me so i don't know what to do. Please help and only good answers please, not ones telling me i'm too young to worry about this

His name's not a big problem at all its just that it gets kind of annoying when people say, "thats really his name???" or "Wow what were his parents thinking??" and stuff like that. But i wudn't break up with him just because of his name.

To be perfectly honest... I'm 19 years old... I've been in two relationships since I was 14... One for 8 months and one for 3 1/2 years... both ended... Relationships at your age are not a good idea. I don't want to say your too young but i myself used to say i knew what love was at that age. Being perfectly honest to myself now I didn't. I know you didn't want to hear the age thing but since I'm not that much older I can tell you honestly how it is. Also, the fact that he would kiss someone else while with you is considered cheating in my book. I don't care if it was a dare he should have said "no I have a girlfriend and that would be wrong to her". Also, most people who cheat once will do it again... You need to let him go and try not to worry so much about relationships... Just have fun hanging out with friends,shopping, and whatever else lol. Good luck!

I don't think his name should be a problem. If you really care for him, something as small as that shouldn't matter.
This relationship doesn't seem worth it. If you can't trust him because he cheated on you before, you probably never will. The fact that he kissed this other girl will constantly be in the back of your mind.

If you are seriously thinking about breaking up with your boyfriend because of his name, then yes, you're too young to have a boyfriend at all. Sorry.
As for whether you are going out, if you both say that you are going out then you are, it doesn't matter how far you go physically.
