I am a 28 year old, single, straight, successful, independent, educated, male. I have a great job, which I am quitting soon to pursue a better one and/or more education, I have no financial worries as I live at home with my parents and other adult siblings. No rent! LOL! I am also pretty decent looking to boot! LOL! Am I too much of a perfect package or do people simply date and find love later in life. And no, I don't advertise this in real life, I know this seems arrogant, but I am just laying it all on the table for you to have the true story behind my situation! I know in the movies people date and even get MARRIED around my age, but that is largely fiction. Heck, I haven't even experienced my first kiss yet or even first girlfriend, so I know MOST people are lying when they say they have experienced real relationships at my age or before. An when people learn about my situation in life, they actually mock it? Why are they so jealous? Anyone else see this in their lives?

I know tons of folks that were married and had multiple kid by your age.

Because you're not capable of having a relationship doesn't mean the rest of the world isn't either.

You may have things going for you, (good for you), but if you try to impress a woman with the fact you have no rent, (yea, babe, I live with my parents........), expect them to RUN!!

I wish you luck in life, but you need to go out and live it as an adult. (you know, living on your own, having a relationship.....)

By the way, they aren't jealous, they just have not basis to relate to you, (just as you have no basis to relate to them, if you question this, read your question and the majority of the answers...........)

Luck

Sorry to say man but your bitter perspective towards those that HAVE experiance REAL realtionships before age 30, even before age 20!

Im 21, student, never had a GF, dont want a GF b/c I have other things I want to pursue 1st.

I say GET OUT OF YOUR PARENTS HOUSE.
you've done the smart thing and stayed @ home to save $, you are 28. get out and be individual.

next thing: you go to this site thedatingwizard.com and have a read.

then realise you're warped perspective and begin finding the woman of your dreams.

Oh my god! that is not normal to be 28 and never even experience you first kiss. That usually happens in the teen years. You need to change something or you'll end up like the 40 year-old virgin. And have fun with that.

I was married by age 23. Had my first real boyfriend (not playing around or kid stuff) at 19. I have no friends or acquaintances who made it to your age before being in a relationship, if not married (with kids!)

I think your point of view is somewhat skewed.

They're not jealous. They're laughing at your lazyness and inability to take care of yourself. One day your mom will die and then who will do your laundry and cook your meals?
