well i'm adopted, so it's a good idea, if you are caring for the child

you should see what your parents say ask them they say it's just a matter of if your parents are to busy with other things or if they only wanted 1 child

When you are adopting a child, you decide. If a child is available for adoption, and you are suitable adoptive parents, you then choose if you want this child or not. When you go through an adoption process, the adoptive parents very often give their preferences. Many parents want a child that has the same ethnic background as them. So if the mom is Irish and the dad is Italian, they might request a baby who's natural parents are Irish and Italian . They might look for certain characteristics in an older child such as blond hair and blue eyes, or black hair and green eyes. Choices are usually done to match the child's physical characteristics to the parents so the child looks more like the adoptive parents and less like an "adopted" child. Then some people do not have any preference and the adoption agency chooses. then the adoptive parents approve or disapprove. Parents usually will spend some time with a child to see if the child fits into their family. Often becoming foster parents before final adoption.

well, is it that your family is thinking to have a adopted child or are you wanting to have a sister and thinking that adoption could be a way to have one? sorry just a little confused tonight, huh. well adoption is a option to have a other person being in the family without the biological process. the thing is every family is different, so many questions have to be answered. Money is a factor since it cost to adopt especially oversees. there has to be networking with the birth mother. so it depends on the family. Whither a child is born biologically or adopted its still alotof work to raise a child up. if your family were to adopt a child i doubt your mother will like her more than you.a mother may have a different bond with every child but her love is equal to all her kids. that's how its suppose to be done. just be kind to your mother so you don't stress your relationship with her. if your mother loves you now no new child, job, problem, will stop her from continuing to love you.

How old are you?
I have to agree with everyone else.
I am a single parent with 2 children, and let me tell you it is work. It's not like having a pet or babysitting. It is a 24/7 responsibility.
This sort of decision is for the parents, not the child.
I'm not trying to be harsh, but it is a struggle sometimes to take care of children - single parent or not.

Adoption is alot of work.. Often times it takes months to get approved for adoption.. You must qualify money wise... you have to pass tests and psychological meetings and what not. This isnt something you can just say.. I want it and i want it now "Varuka."

You shouldn't adopt a child because you want a playmate.
In that case you should adopt a cat or a dog.

I think you should realize that the choice on whether your parents have another child or not, is not your choice to make and you should shut up about it and quit worrying about it.

it's up to your parents.... whether or not it would be their kid or an adopted kid, it's all work. don't be selfish, if your parents wanted another kid they'd have it, accept your family and make good friends
