I'm out of work right now & am also trying to save on train & bus fair for getting to community areas where job fairs would be posted.

Instead of just the internet, what about local Junior/ Community Colleges?
Employment Guides that you can get at any super market.
The Library too!
Also try city hall, they might have some insight on fairs or different things to that nature

Contact your local office of the State Department of Labor--they usually have lists of all the job fairs nearby--and in the rest of your state as well. The internet is also useful --if there is a local college or junior college in you town they often are sites for job fairs--if you contact all these sources you should get all the available information on job fairs.

contact local employment AGENCIES in your area. They are listed in the newspapers, also in the phone book, and on the internet.

How far away, is the local unemployment office? It's not only 4 people, collecting unemp. Also for any 1 looking work, no fees, totally FREE!!!!!!! They are there, to help YOU..............
