the ram with the 360 has plenty of power and will average a few more miles to the gallon also, and its just as fun to drive ,they don't have the same horse power but they do run extremely good, and are reliable ,if i was going to get another one it would be one with the 360 in it,you,ll enjoy driving it as much, and it wont cost as much to drive it,good luck with it.

I don't know where these guys get off comparing the 5.9L or 360 to the Hemi, but the Hemi has considerably more power. After being in them back to back, I can tell you that the Hemi has quite a bit more kick. In fact, the 4.7L feels like it's as fast as any 5.9L Ram. As far as mileage goes, the old 4.7L doesn't do much better than the Hemi if the Hemi is an MDS engine (2006+) The 2008 4.7L is probably the best engine for the Ram. It has 300hp, and my brother averages 18mpg in mixed driving with his 2008 Quad Cab 4X4 Ram.

OK first Hemi and gas mileage do not go together plus add 4WD and things get ugly $80.fill ups don't turn me on.
Next if you buy used, negotiate the Hemi right out of the deal its a used v8 what ever motor it has, use its fuel consumption against the sale to get a better deal.
Trucks are not ment to be quick and are not so don't get the idea this puppy will snap your neck taking off it will spin the tires but its going to trying to move 7500lbs!
You want quick get a new challenger same money better gas mileage

Well the Hemi's just all about the name. The same reason girls buy coach purses, its a material thing.
The truth is that a regular V8 1500 has plenty of giddy up in it. And it's gonna save you substantial gas mileage.
Dodges are cheaper used because they have a low re-sale value. And be careful what year the truck is, because 90's RAM trucks were known for being one of the easiest trucks to steal.
good luck bro

get the 360 magnum. mines has 110,000 miles and ive only replace spark plugs, air filter, oil, coolant, tps, and serpentine belt. nothing major. the only thing i dont like about dodge trucks is that some dont come with grease points but most dealer will tap some in for you or you could do it your self. and the cure for my tranny is changing the fluid every 15,000 miles instead of 24,000, but i flush every 30,000 and it has never given me any problems

I have a 2006 with a Hemi and it gets 17-18 mpg on the road. It has a 5 spd. auto and 3.92 gears.
The company I work for has a 2002 4wd, crew cab with a 360 and it gets 12 mpg.
All the owner reports I have heard is the 5.7 hemi gets better mileage than the 4.7 in a comparable vehicle. I think that is because the 5.7 doesn't have to work as hard to carry the load.

Siempre he estado contenta con las compras y los productos que he recibido de sitios web, lo último que he comprado ha sido una memoria RAM de 1 Gb, la memoria se ha hecho su función y se puede ver claramente el cambio así que seguro que voy a comprar otra.
