for all you out there who have put your replys on my daughter nataqskia2002 question regarding how she could start her labour well I am pleased to report that I now have a lovely grandson who was born Saturday at 1:25am 29th Dec 2007 It was the pineapple that worked so thank you everyone .

oh, congratulations! the question's a bit tougher! as a nana myself i know the feeling of not wanting to put that precious little one down! of course you'll be there the first week or so to help your daughter, it's after that it gets a bit tricky. do you live nearby? i'd suggest sitting down with your daughter & having a family powwow. tell her you want to help but don't want to seem interfering or get in the way. i'm sure between you, you can come up with something that works for all of you. all the best, diane.

Nana's should visit about twice a week to spend time with baby to allow mummy some quality time sleeping or pampering herself in bath or Nana can help with housework a little as it tends to slide when you have a little one to care for.
Aww, I am so happy for you.
My baby due in 3 and half months - so nervous but excited too!
