There are several ways something can be right or wrong.

Legally, porn is OK. (Except for kiddie porn and bestiality, which are criminal.) But I'm guessing you're talking about regular guy-girl porn.

Religion has an influence on how we regard behavior as "right or wrong. But this isn't germane, since you're not religious.

If your culture says porn is wrong, that should be an influence. Is it? I don't know because even if we are in the same culture, we're two different persons.

That leaves conscience- what makes us do something when no one's looking. If your conscience makes you feel bad, then it's probably wrong for you.

Seems to me, your dilemma is between different motivators within you. You satisfy your prurient interests through porn. Part of you feels this is wrong, so you're asking if we think it's OK. The best answer I can give you is what you already knew- It depends on how you feel, not on what anyone here thinks of it.

you aren't a bad guy. almost every guy i know watches porn and most of my girlfriends too. the women in the movies chose to be in that position, so who is being disrespected? you probably should try watching porn and fooling around at the same time with your girlfriend or a girl in general. that's usually really fun. and i guess you'll feel better about it too.

Some women think it's disrespectful, but some of us understand that it's not, and some of us even watch it. It's okay to watch porn.

(Just understand that, like any movie, it isn't real life. Don't expect future partners of yours to be like the women in porn.)

Absolutely O.K. And a lot of women watch it too ...
Just make sure you treat women with respect in the real world, after all what you watch in porn is just a depiction of your fantasy - quite entertaining - but still fantasy.

No, porn's fine.

You disrespect women when you disrespect women -- like trying to treat an acual woman like those you see on the screen when you watch porn.

The women who star in porn expect you to look at it. How does that disrespect them? How does appreciating their bodies disrespect them? Shame of sex and nudity is purely religious in the social sense, and is wrong.

Among people you may be disrespecting women but when you would be alone with a woman, you would consider a woman as a divine blessing. You should accept natural insinct being very frank. From: Mr.K.V.GANDHI

watching porn &knocking your rocks is a much more appropriate way to deal with your sexual frustration than going out and sleeping with countless women.

youre not hurting anyone .. and ever girl knows that its somewhere in most guys' nature to loooove porn, so why not?

youre DEFINITELY not a bad person.

You should not continue. Personally I think that pornography is like a plague. Even if you are not religious, you can see that pornography has negative effects. It causes people who watch it to objectify women (and men), seeing them as sexual objects. It gives people unnatural expectations about sex. It artificially stimulates emotions that should only be stimulated in a loving marriage relationship. In addition, being a consumer of porn gives money to the porn industry, indirectly encouraging drug use and dangerous behavior in the people who make the pornography. I think it's wonderful that you are asking this question and I strongly encourage you to stay away from pornography.
