Well I couldn't begin to answer that question without knowing who took the blood pressure, where it was taken, what instrument was used, how it was taken, and whether or not certain circumstances were met (was the person still for at least 5 minutes before the reading, did they eat before the reading, etc. Lots of things can cause a person's blood pressure to appear to be elevated, even having a full bladder can elevate your B.P. If you're worried about your blood pressure, have a doctor or nurse take a reading. High blood pressure can't be diagnosed with just one reading, it requires at least 3 seperate readings a few weeks apart. The number or numbers need to be consistently high.

I see the others have given you a long list and I am sure the list is longer than that. Have you considered the possibility of persist and continuous terrorism infliction; high stress due to harassment at home and at school. Some children have break downs due to unachievable demands.

Is he/she drinking energy drinks? That would definitely do it. A surprising number of kids are drinking those because they can get them at 7-Eleven, etc, and they give the system more of a jolt that a soft drink.

It could be heart or kidney problems. get the child in for a complete physical right away.
