Christian faith alone. They say that they are apart of a belief that rejects the believing of a higher Diety and religion, but there are a many of religions out there such as Buddism, Hinduism, Islam, etc. I don't know maybe it's just where I'm at....Remember this is just a question so please answer it and save smart-@ss comments. (Sorry, shouldn't have said it like that, but I'm just getting my point across!)

Because Christianity is the one they are most threatened by, most of them are ex-Christan's and deep down inside they know it is the truth. Someone or something has caused them to walk away and their hatred for that same thing, keeps them from coming back.

Atheists do not just reject the idea of just Christian Faith. They reject the idea of a deity entirely! Again, why do christians believe that their religion is the best? Can you guys not accept other people's beliefs and not hate others that do not believe in your religion??
I think most atheists have come to a point in their lives where they feel that they have lost all hope in praying and believing in something that isn't going to help their present situation. So who do they go to? Obviously, they start to trust and believe in themselves. Its the only way.

Buddhism is an atheist religion anyway, and Christianity is the majority religion on here and in the countries most people on here are from, so I guess if we had to pick it's the one we've got the most "beef" with, if you'll pardon the Americanism. Obviously, being as the only unifying characteristic in a group of atheists is that they don't believe in God, they all have their own reasons for doing absolutely anything. Just saying it's most likely Christianity is the one we're most exposed to.

Atheists (more than one atheist) do not believe in any God or gods (with the possible exception of the FSM). It is just that almost all religious questions asked on this forum are from Christians. Also For most of us most of the proselytizing we have been exposed to has been from Christians.

Oh, well I dont beleive in Buddism , Hinduism, Islam, or any of them either. Its because its mostly Christians on here that it may seem that way. The Christians on here are asking questions like this one designed to make us (atheists) look bad.
Why can't those who believe just believe and let us have the right to not? I dont tell you not to beleive. Just that I dont.

It's just you. You missed me refuting a Hindu's question a few minutes ago.
I've been reported by every denomination of Christianity and Islam, plus Buddhists who don't like the war on the Tamils in Sri Lanka publicly discussed, and even a Baha'i for pointing out that faith began as an assassin's group for Islam.
Each of my answers were based in facts. Two Hindu nationalists are now frothing because I pointed out Modi's involvement in the massacre of Muslims in Gujarat.
And, if by some odd chance the Nagalim Christians show up, more facts will get me reported!

Maybe it appears that way because the majority of questions here seem to be about christianity in some way....and, christians make up the majority (in the U.S. anyway). I think most atheists have made it quite clear that they are without belief in god, any god.
We get attacked mostly by christians, so that may explain some of it too.

Because 90%+ of the theists on this board are Christian.
Just to let you know I have investigated all the major religions and have rejected them all as being contradictorty fabrications of men.
P.S. Buddhists are strictly speaking atheists. Buddha was/is not a god.

I criticize christianity because it is the religion I grew up around and therefore the one i am most familiar with. also, criticism is a part of critical thinking which is something I can't seem to help doing.
