A comment was made by my neice to my son as we were all sitting at the dinner table. (She was 4 , he was 7) He happened to be saying something about fat, not about anyone and she said "Yeah, fat like your mom!! HaHaHa!!"
I took it in stride, and told my sister that there is more where that came from and this is only the beginning, so she better be careful in public!!!!!! ( I weigh 147 and am 5'4 by the way<3)

I was doing a homeschool evaluation interview at my kitchen table. The oldest of 3 little brats ... er, I mean students looked up at my dining room light (it was my 1st -- & only -- time meeting this family) & commented, "Oh, I see you have your own web site." His parents thought it was funny. I thought it was very rude, & when I mailed my evaluations to them, I recommended that they take advantage in the future of their school district's free evaluation.
Edit: After reading the other answers, yes, my children each (as each 1 has been about 3 or so) have told me I am fat. Actually, I have recorded (I keep a file of all their mis-speaks) that when my Jamila was 6, we were cozying up to read together when she complimented, "You're soft & cuddly ... and fat."

When my oldest child was 4 and I had bent over to get something under the counter ,she was standing behind me, she started cracking up laughing, slap me on the butt and said "Mommy you got a FAT ***" then took for running down the hall. Kids gotta love them.

some little kid asked if my teeth were dirty. apparently her teacher had said people with braces have dirty teeth.once while in the mall 2 girls a few years younger than me(maybe 10 or 11) pulled on their mothers skirt , pointed at me and said 'hey look, an emo kid, wonder if she cuts'.i was only a few metres away, i looked at the mother expecting some response or apology . she was looking right at me and said 'yeah, yeah, lets go'. that seriosly pissed me off.

I was passing the time of day with a neighbour and my bored 2 year old piped up 'why do you look like a monkey for?' - taken aback, the man said 'what did she say?' so red-faced(ly) I said 'oh! she's just telling you she saw the monkeys in the zoo'. Little one stamped her foot and said 'no, I said..................' -by the end of the sentence she was back indoors and I'd hastily said my goodbyes to my neighbour !

My cousin was visiting from another country and is six. I haven't seen him since he was a newborn, when I fed him and changed his diapers. When I saw him a few months ago, he told me "I hope you die and never graduate high school." That was a big shocker to me. I was playing video games with him, talking to his brother (18) about his high school graduation. Then the six year old says that out of the blue.

one of my sons friends asked if I was his Grandma (I am 36) and yeah, I was overdue for a haircolour but cripes!!!!!!!!!! On a school trip once, one of my daughters friends was talking about how fast they want to drive when they were older and they were going to be a busdriver and I said well, I hope I never have to go on his bus and he told me (very seriously) that by the time he was old enough to be a busdriver I would be dead
