I think it would be awesome! Who cares what the age difference is especially since he's over 21. Look at Ashton and Demi Moore, she's like 20 years older then him.

It's becoming a bit more acceptable for older women to date younger guys. I dated some guy 22 years younger then me it was awesome!!!!

Go for it I say and who cares about the age difference....you are the ones that need to be happy I'm just a bystander to your life so who cares what I think.

Good Luck

I can see all the answers to this that will be all for it since you see this happening so much with older men and younger women. A older women who dates a younger man is called a Cougar. Sorry but I don't feel it is ok. I know some people use the argument of age not mattering, it is the maturity of the person, but when you start getting more than 10 years apart in a relationship it does and should matter. The older person has tons of life experience, and they should not be living the way a 20 something person is living, and vice versa.

Watch the movie Harold and Maude. A 15 year old boy ends up falling in love with an 80 year old woman. That movie completely changed my perspective of age gaps in relationships. What matters is the relationship. Most of the time, age gaps like that make it so that a relationship won't work; however, if it works for you, do it.

it's ok but i don't think it is appropriate. the man should be mature and able to support the woman so it is more ideal if the man is a little older or the age difference is not that far apart even if the man is younger. 20 years is too much of an age difference

Hmm...idk if this is a good idea...it just seems infantile like the woman is trying to re-live her youth with a younger man and is most likely using him for sex to control and dominate....he wants a milf i guess which is odd...she should find someone who thinks likes her whether he is 30 or 50.

At the end of the day age is just a number the only thing that matters is common interests, attraction and personality.

As long as he is over 18, age should not matter. If she is hot and looks great for her age, and he is mature for his age and they get along great there is no reason they should not date, but.......before it gets too serious think about if the woman has already had a family and kids and if the man wants a family and kids. My boyfriend is 8 yrs younger than me and it worked great because he already had 3 kids and I have 1 and we were both done with having children.

Like my mom always said....age is nothing but a number if you're over the legal age. In other words, if he's over 21 and you like him and want to date him why not? The only slight problem you might have is that most 21 year old guys aren't really ready to settle down yet. my boyfriend is 22 years old and he's still not even close to being ready to settle down and have a family. But you might get lucky and maybe he's not like that at all and is really mature for his age. Every guy is different and they all mature at different ages.

I say definitely YES. Listen...I am only 20 years old, and I am absolutely in love with a 38 year old man, and I couldn't be happier. When it comes to love, as long as both partners are of legal age according to the law, then the whole age gap thing doesn't even matter, and I believe that it's total crap how people say that when you're in a relationship like that, that you won't really have any of the same interests, or that when it comes to conversation that you probably wouldn't have much to talk about and relate to because of the whole "different generation" thing, because, like I said before, I am still pretty young myself but I am mature for my age and I just so happen to like a lot of things that people older than myself like. So, with all that said...Life is too short to worry about what other's think of you and your personal life and your decisions, so SCREW what they think =]

I suppose so....men date women 20 years tounger than them all the time. But in either case I think it's a bit ridiculous. What (other than sex) could you possibly have in common? Personally, (if I were still dating) I wouldn't want to have a thing to do with anyone (dating wise) who can't remember the first moon walk (and I DON'T mean Michael Jackson)

Sure. My manager once dated a man 20+ years younger than her and it was prob. the best time of her life. I mean you don't have the marry the guy. Have fun, be safe, enjoy the sexual peak the age difference can bring ;)
