You could sell your soul on ebay for a $1 and still have free shipping.
What allows one soul to be 'traded' are the actions that cause it to be debased. One could very easily say that a person who dedicated their life to immoral pursuits and actions has, thus, sold their soul to the devil.
Saying one has sold their soul does not, ipso facto, make it true, just as a person who has committed atrocities, who then claims they are a simply a good person, is speaking truth.

You can't sell your soul, especially to an entity that doesn't even exist. And neither does hell. Tell your friend to quit listening to the voices in his head.

first of all, why would you want to sell your soul to the devil, just thinking of hell creeps me out. im not sure if he is or isnt going to hell.

Many 'sell' their 'soul' (life) to the Devil without even realizing it. They sell it to him for the physical / material gain they get from his system of things.

A family member of mine said they sold their soul in order for someone who hurt them to be punished. That person died not long after from "unknown causes". I guess it worked.
