which muscle, on a human being, would a tenderloin be? I know its in the leg.

No the tenderloin is not a leg muscle, it does little work, hence the tenderness. The tenderloin refers to the Psoas major muscle along the central spine portion, which more or less hangs between the shoulder blade and hip socket. You could justify naming the Sternocleidomastoid (SCM) muscle the “tenderloin” of the human neck, because interesting similarities exist between this muscle and the “real” tenderloin - the psoas major.

Sorry its not in the leg. The tenderloin is in the abdominal cavity along the sides of the spine. the loins are on the top sides.
