Well, that depends. Do I know this friend well? Do this friend's parents know my child will be in their house when no one else is home? Has my fifteen year old given me cause to worry in the past? Do I trust my child?
I think, under the best of circumstances that this would be ok, for a couple hours...all evening, no. Kids do stupid things when they get bored.

ok listen why would a 15 yr old wanna go to a nasty web site if they were alone (no supervision) wouldn't they rather have a real guy or girl there that would be the only thing i would be worried about and if you trust your child then you have no reason not to trust them now especially if they never tested your trust before! if you don't they might rebel and start doing things that you don't want them to trust me i was there like umm lets see......2 years ago so don't worry they will be fine!
oh and by the way i dont have kids i just think that parents should hear from a teen that went through the same thing
good luck making the choice : )

I may trust my 15 year old, but I don't trust others. So no, I wouldn't allow my 15 year old to go to a friend's house without adult supervision, that is just asking for trouble, and potentially putting her in a bad situation.

I didn't read others response, but I personally would not let 15 year olds have a party without at least 1 adult supervising. They don't have to be in the same room, but to be available in the event an accident happens, drugs or alcohol come into the premises. I do trust my son very much I just don't trust others. But if my 15 year old was invited to a friends house and no others were invited, and I trusted the individual, then I have no difficulty them being together without adult supervision.

It depends on the person. If you trust your child and their friend, then it shouldn't be a problem. If your child or their friend has ever done anything that would lead you to believe that they can't be trusted in a situation like that, then I wouldn't advise it.
Personally, I'm 14 and I am allowed go to friends houses when their parents/no other adults are around.

well... to be honest i am not a parent, i'm 13...
but it all depends on what type of people they are. not to be sexist, but generally girls are less likely to go on obscene websites. i probably wouldn't trust a 15 year old without an adult there, there's a lot of peer pressure on kids these days, and what if an emergency happens? if you do decide to let him/her go, make sure to call frequently (every half hour seems reasonable to me) to make sure things are ok.
hope this helps!

If I were to allow my 15yr old to go to a friends house I'd make sure to meet with her parents prior to the visit or on that day. I would definitely not allow her to sleep over though without some supervision.

Yes, but if I didn't trust the friend they wouldn't be going over there. Someone said no because what if an emergency arose, then that's an easy answer if you're home they can call you if it's a serious danger there's an easy answer for that it's called dialing 911.

my oldest son is 11 and yes i would trust him, he knows
right from wrong. he doesn't like to get in trouble or yelled at
or punished. as for my 8 year old, no i wouldn't trust him.
he's a good boy but he will try things to a certain extent.
