Worked 3 days at a job this week...will I have to claim this on taxes (CA)?

Will they send me a w-2?

If you get paid by 12/31 or earlier, then you'll get a W-2 for the amount for 2007 - you'll get it in the next 5 weeks or so. If your check for this week is dated in 2008, then it'll be on your W-2 for 2008, which you'll get in early 2009.

They should send you a w2 or possibly a 1099 depends on what you did not enough info to give you a full answer

Yes, this income like any other income.

You include it in your income when you figure out if you have a filing requirement.
