hi i am ten and i just got my contacts today i havnt slept in them or anything but when they are in my eyes they feel like they are scratching them! and earlier my right eye the corner o it felt really weird it hurt! do you know why?

you should be asking your parents this. If you wear contacts you should not be able to feel them. If they hurt there is something wrong, probably something in your eyes.

They will feel like that at first, but over time you will build a resistance to them and soon you will be able to sleep in them unoticed and go about ur day, Ive had them for 8 years now. The only time theyll start to hurt is if something gets trapped on the contacts or foreign material in the eye, or if you put the contact lens on your eye "inside out" you will notice it bother immediately and it wont stop tearing up.

When I first got contacts, I was told to follow a break in period. I think 2 hours the first day and increase over the next few days. Were you given any instructions? Are you sure that they are in correctly and not backward? Make sure you are washing your hands before you touch your contacts.

they might be inside out?
take them out & see if they make a bowl shape.
if they don't they're inside out.
