Noah wasn't in the desert it was Moses.

EDIT: No Moses led the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and then led them around the desert. Noah, built an ark and put a bunch of animals in it, so that when a huge flood came.... they would be spared.

Genesis Chapter 6,7,and 8 are the story of the flood and Noah's Ark.

Exodus- the whole book tells about Moses

Moses led the Israelites around the desert for 40 years.

You're confusing the Ark of the Covenant with Noah's Ark.

Thing is there's a Latin word ARCA meaning container box chest or vessel. Why this Latin word was used or was applied to both kinds of vessels I have no idea!
