Take your bible and have faith in these text of the scriptures
Acts 24:15 (Peter speaking one of Jesus deciples) and I have hope toward God, which hope these men themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
John 5:28,29 Do not marvel at this because the hour is coming in which All those in the memorial toombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to ressurection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgement.
based on those 2 scriptures alone your mom will rise again , the scriptures dont lie. but now you on the other hand while you are living have to decide now whether you will see her again by your future actions, there are things that a person can do to get their name put in the book of life,
(Malachi 3:16)
and things you can do to get wiped out of the book of life (Exodus 32:33)
However Jesus said at John 11:25 I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life;
If a person didnt die, what need would there be for Jesus to even mention or even have the resurrection hope?
anyone can contact me if you want to learn more.

I understand that you're not religious. And you're right, even the Bible says that "the dead are conscious of nothing at all." (Ecclesiastes 9:5) It's logical to believe this because it's true. But, when Jesus was on earth, he raised a couple people from the dead. Why did he do that? And why isn't he doing that for everybody?
Well, what he did when he was on earth was a sample....a sample of what's to come in the near future! John 5:28,29 says, "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out..."
So, eventhough your mom is asleep in death, she is going to be awaken from that sleep. We're not going to be reunited with our loved ones in heaven. We're going to be reunited with them right here on earth! That's a promise...
If you have a Bible, please read John chapter 11, where Jesus brought his close friend, Lazarus, back to life after he had been dead for 4 days!

Blind faith is not necessary.
(Hebrews 11:1-3) . . .Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld. 2 For by means of this the men of old times had witness borne to them. 3 By faith we perceive that the systems of things were put in order by God’s word, so that what is beheld has come to be out of things that do not appear.
How can a person acquire faith?
Rom. 10:17: “Faith follows the thing heard.” (Compare Acts 17:11, 12; John 4:39-42; 2 Chronicles 9:5-8. A person must first find out what the Bible says, and he will strengthen his conviction if he examines it carefully so as to be convinced of its reliability.)
Rom. 10:10: “With the heart one exercises faith.” (By meditating on godly things to build up appreciation for them, a person impresses them on his figurative heart.)
Faith is strengthened when a person acts on God’s promises and then sees the evidence of God’s blessing on what he has done.—See Psalm 106:9-12.
Illustration: Perhaps you have a friend of whom you would say: ‘I trust that man. I can count on him to keep his word; and I know that if I have a problem, he will come to my help.’ It is not likely that you would be saying that about anyone you met for the first time yesterday, is it? He would have to be someone with whom you had long association, someone who had proved his dependability time and again. It is similar with religious faith. To have faith, you need to take time to get to know Jehovah and his way of doing things.

Knowledge of the resurrection hope coupled with knowledge of the One who is the source of that provision can comfort you. Jesus promised: "You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:32) That includes emancipating us from the fear of death. Jehovah is the only one who can actually change the process of aging and death and grant us eternal life. Can you believe in God's promises? Yes, you can because God's Word always comes true. (Isaiah 55:11) We urge you to learn more about God's purposes for mankind. Jehovah's Witnesses will be delighted to help you.

If you go where she's going when you die yes you will see her again. It's simple to be saved and go to Heaven automaticly. Calling on to his name (I'd say praying) is a way to get saved saying with your mouth (voice) that the Lord is the Lord and the God rose Jesus from the dead. Here say this prayer and you wouldn't have to worry about if you go to Heaven or not.
Dear Jesus,
I know I am a sinner,
Please for give my sins,
I do belive that God rose you from the dead,
I do trust and belive in you,
I know you are my Lord,
and I want you to be in my heart,
and save my forever,
Thank you Jesus,
Ahmen.
It's that easy. That a prayer I'd say. If you confess that you are a sinner and welcome Jesus into your heart and belive and trust in him and belive God rose him form the dead it will save you. Just say it. Maybe also ask him to help you understand the stuff you don't understand. I'd say say the prayer out loud or whisper it to yourself.

I believe if someone did not have a chance to know Jesus for whatever reason he appears to them between death and eternity and gives them a choice. See someone who died for you to be saved is not going to give up because you didn't understand what it was all about. I would just believe for both of you to be in heaven. :) God honors faith.

You will see her again, The body dies but the spirit lives on. In the spirit world they are teaching of Christ as well. She will still have a chance to except Christ even after the mortal death. However those who except Christ in this life are so much better off than those who haven't that you should at least try to have faith in Jesus Christ.

I don't think you will see her in the phyical sense. Whether you choose to believe in something you can't see is a choice that you have made. I can understand that its very hard to have faith in something that you can understand. The question isn't if your religious, it if you have accepted that there is a high authority.

Your mom is just dead awaiting the ressurection. When she is ressurected she will be brought back to this earth. That is what God has promised to do. God's original purpose for the earth was to have it inhabited with perfect humans and for there to be a world wide paradise. That was his purpose from the very beginning. God's will has not changed. God never intended when he was creating the earth for man to die and then go to heaven. He created the earth with a definate purpose. The earth will be restored to a paradise where there is not sickness and death and we are at total peace with the animals and each other. If you are here of course you can welcome her back.

God is able to act and be merciful beyond the limitations of Protestant interpretations of his word. Satan uses unloving unmerciful ones to alienate unbelievers from God and his bible of his self revelation to humanity. Read all 4 Gospels and you will gain hope and faith in the possibility of seeing her again if you persevere in faith to the end.
The Holy Trinity have promised me, according to a man from Iran who heard me miraculously praying in his Farsi and Kurdish and saying it, that they will save anyone I pray for.
So i place your Mom's need for his love and mercy at the foot of his cross asking him to apply the value and merits of his love sacrifice on the cross for her sake and for yours too. The Lord will provide what you need for getting there.
In heaven God perfects our relations with our parents and loved ones making it forever problem free.
Faith in God and Jesus is never blind. We are blind to divine truths to begin with. Pope Paul VI said, Many mistake their own blindness for the death or absence of God.
Faith enables us to see divine truths not seeable by natural human efforts. Just like when you love and someone loves you faith in it in them is necessary when they are not seen or distant for awhile or when they are spending time with someone else today instead of you. Or when things dont make any sense at all.
Does love ever get that way? If it does should you never love, just to be safe?
Faith raises the mind and heart to a supernatural level of seeing based on God's goodness and holiness not on what satisfies the senses.
