really liked it. I am just starting to try it at leat once a week and see if I can get to liking it. Tonight I had walleye and scallops. I liked the scallops, the walleye was "OK". I think I might just like it served in a way other than pan fried.. Any suggestions?

Put sauces, glazes, etc. on them. If you still can't stomach them, take the "fish" pills with all the Omega vitamins fish is known for.

Get a small sheet of stainless expanded steel, available at better cookware shops. It works well for grilling any fish. Try adding an old tuna can of mesquite or hickory chips and water next to you coals when grilling the fish.
If fish tastes 'fishy'to you, try soaking the filletsin a dish of milk for an hour or two before grilling or broiling. Also, garlic seemsto mask some fishy tastes, and tastes pretty good in its own right.
Try other fish, too. Tilapia is a relative of the pirahna, so you can feel good about biting back, it's very mild flavor, and takes seasonings well. Its a great fish to practice cooking with, because it's inexpensive and fairly easy to cook.
Catfish, (my fav) is also easy and if it's fresh is one of the best flavor fishes you can eat. Don't over season catfish. Its pretty good just as it is, or with a light breading.

It's very difficult to train yourself to eat something you don't like. I've been trying to do that with seafood as long as I can remember. Then one day I had an appetizer of scallops and they melted like butter in my mouth. So slowly and carefully I tried something else and still there is not a lot I like, but some such as haddock and I find I like tinned salmon, red sockeye, and then I found I really liked Alaska king crab legs, but so far
I find I still do not care for tuna, salmon steaks, cod, well I guess you know what I mean. The omega 3 fatty acids are in other foods that I do like so that's what I eat.

People who love fish simply do not understand. My sons love fish and I cook it for them.

Try several different salmon recipes until you get used to fish. Then slowly take it a step further maybe with crab or lobster meat, then start with shrimp and scallops.

Prepare your fish or seafood the easiest way...pan fried with as little oil as possible and just salt and pepper. Maybe add some fresh garlic. I like to pour some white wine over it shortly before it is done, it gives a nice flavor.

Serve it with some boiled potatoes, I like it with creamed spinach or just some fresh crusty bread and salad.

Try walleye salmon grilled with lemon.
You must try Dungeness crab, cooked, cracked, and served with melted butter or mayonnaise. Delicious!
I love steamed Manila clams (steamers) in butter and garlic!
Enjoy prawns, shrimp, lobster, halibut, sole, and all the other sea foods.

I don't do much fish either, but scallops, shrimp and flounder are very easily digestible. Especially if you like tartar sauce. YUM. And if you love garlic, lemon and butter, anything "scampi" is delicious with pasta or rice.

I like Orange Roughy and Tilapia they are less "fishy". Cod isn't too bad either. I eat fish for the same reasons as you, but it's definately not a favorite. If you come across a great recipe, e-mail me.
