our own selfish pleasures are to blame. Some people dont kill, only for fear of prison or retribution. Rape, War, Theft, ect. are all based on trying to get something that is not yours.
It is said that before the law, everyone did what was right in there own eyes, so some guy may want your wife, and come and take her away, and there is nothing you can do about it because there is no law against it. Might makes right was their creed. I for one am thankful that the Lord made laws to protect the little man.

Greed -- for money and/or power. That is what is behind religion's bloodthirsty history of meddling in political affairs and bleeding their followers for every $ they could extract. That would still be the case w/o religion, some other organization would fill the void. Satan uses the desires for material things to turn & twist the world.

If there was no religion on earth, there would still be violence because there is NO God to blame for why life is such a DRAG. This species LOVES violence and murder and can't live without it. History has proven this fact, time and time again. I keep ministering to others that no "perfect" God in heaven would ever create this mess, but that the DEVIL "did" but nobody "listens." It "profits" the devil to have "us" for he has someone to "possess" in the flesh. Without the flesh the devil is NOTHING. As one who used to be an ex satanist, we used to PRAISE him for achieving such a great accomplishment in deceiving the world to believe God in heaven is responsible for the creation of this species. By giving mankind unachievable goals in life in HIS religions, he creates the perfect environment for a motive for FRUSTRATION and FAILURE thus creating VIOLENCE and MURDER. When people can not achieve this illusion of perfection, it frustrates them and when the unpredictability of life itself takes it's toll on this species they reach for the ultimate blame. EACH OTHER. Think about it. Jesus told everyone in his time our FATHER was the DEVIL but few have paid attention to those words OR why he offered us a way OUT of THIS world.

It is personal responsibility. You are always responsible for your own actions.
You cannot say ---- I did it for 'God' - now please reward me!
What you do in this world - matters.
God is an excuse to do wrong - saying - Oh, I was taught - that God would approve of what I did... so there!
But the real excuse was - Oh, I didn't use my brain to think for myself (which commonsense tells you - you simply do not go around killing people - even if you don't like them, or disapprove of what they believe in...)

Selfishness begins the cycle of violence, period. It flows on to greed, lies, power, immorality, violence, and for the finale: Death and Destruction.
