You will probably end the evening having a long talk with Ralph Moon about Buicks. You will also have a bad head and belly the next day.

In most cases what makes people sick is the total amount of alcohol consumed in a relatively short time. In your example, there are 9 shots of alcohol. That can be very irritating to the stomach.

The tequila rose part sounds like it would make that cocktail nasty, but I don't think it's the mixing so much as the alcohol that makes you sick. There might be a certain kind of liquor you can't tolerate, but mixing them won't do anything -- that's an urban legend.

I don't find it to be bad. I never stick to one type of alcohol when I go out drinking. I have never gotten sick from mixing my drinks. I don't know anyone who ever has as well.

I do believe that it will kick in faster and make one feel not to swell if they are not big drinkers (ie lightweights) to begin with.

As the other person said. Know your limits.

I drink many kinds of alcohol when I drink. I love tequila, Jack daniels, "jager bombs" and vodka. Many nights I mix and match depending on the mood. I usually start off with some Jager bombs, then move on to something else. As long as you know your limits and respect them, you shouldn't have any problems.

There's an old saying, never mix the grain & the grape! Just think what your drinks are made of and stick to that rule.

People who mix spirits for a living and don't sample their
work are always better for it if this becomes a habit. Those
who mix and chug have a cold porcelain god they can hug
to empty their gut feelings into.
