If you DID get a sign...how could you know FOR SURE that it was from God? Go look up the definition of the word "Faith. " If you do ever get your "proof" or your "sign"...be careful not to let others destroy it.("Don't cast your pearls among swine")
Wiki definition of "Faith"..

EDIT
Did you ever see what happened when a pearl necklace broke? That's what happened to my Faith.

Have you ever just asked God, "Hey, where are you?"
I did.
It came after my divorce. I had my family taken away, my home, I lost my job, I was bankrupt, and on the verge of being homeless, and I just couldn't take it anymore. I said, "God, if you're real, then why does all of this crap keep happening to me? I pray and I pray for you to help me and I see nothing. There is no sign, I haven't had a job in a month, I have no place to live but my car, which will be reposessed soon. I have no faith in you anymore!"
That week, I was offered a place to live rent free, a job that I now love more than any job that I have ever had, I was introduced to people who are now just as important to me as family, and the people who were in my life already have become even closer to me than before.
Also, I learned a very important thing: God wants us to have a relationship with Him. He wants us to tell Him when we are mad, when we lose faith, and when we just don't get it. He wants us to communicate with Him. It's okay to tell Him these things. I was raised with the understanding that you prayed and then *poof* you get what you pray for. That's not how it works. God answers all prayers. ALL PRAYERS. Sometimes the answer is yes, more than likely the answer is no, and sometimes the answer is more like "You don't want that, trust me. I've got something better for you. Just wait for it." We are living in a world that is full of instant gratification though, and God works on His schedule not anybody else's. If the timing for something isn't right, then we won't get it. This can be very frustrating and it is still something that frustrates me, but I have had to pray for patience as well, and I am slowly learning to be more and more patient every day.
I am not one of these people who can rattle off Bible verses for any occasion. I have not read through a lot of the Bible, but after I started talking to God a little bit, I just opened it up and I would thumb through it. I suggest you do that. Or search the index for the things that you may be thinking about. A good book that I started with was Proverbs. It's small and you can read one chapter a day ( I think there are 28 chapters or so) and it all applies to everyday living, not just the way life was 2,000 years ago.
I will pray for you that you find what you are looking for, and that God works in your heart the same way that He has worked in mine. Know that even when we lose faith, God never loses His faith in us. He loves us all so much, and all that He wants in return is for us to know Him.
God Bless.

I trust that you are born again. Don't Give up, if God has called you which I am going to trust that you have given your life to Jesus He wants you to seek Him in His word. Faith cometh by hearing the word of God. I'm afraid that there probably has already been several sings from God it's just that you are not seeing them. God is there before you, He lives in your heart. Don't give up, seek and you shall find.
Knock and the door will be opened.
You have not because you ask not.
Be persistent, do not quite. For there is nothing to quite to.

Just read as much you can: philosophy, physics, etc., and make up your own mind. Nothing wrong w/being an agnostic or atheist, and nothing wrong with being spiritual/religious.
Just don't turn into one of these whiny ******* who push their opinion on you, whatever u believe.
Like the little turd who said:
"God isn't real. anyone saying otherwise is delusional. why do you even want to beleive?"
You never want to take advice from people who can't spell simple words anyway.

The biggest and most appreciated sign god gave me was when my grandpa almost died form a heart attack...i mean he was like on his death bed. I prayed and prayed and my grandpa is living and healthy. See there is really no scientific fact because it cant be given in one fact. It is personal between different human beings. I believe why go through all the trouble of writing the bible, creating churches, and having priests if it wasn't for something?

One thing the Bible is very clear on is that you are NOT to challenge God to prove to you that He exists - if you are asking God to give you a sign of His existence, then you are guilty of this sin and should ask forgiveness.
I must ask, how do you pray? Many Christians pray for something they need once and never ask for it again, saying that asking more than once shows "lack of faith"; this is in opposition to the teachings of Christ that you are to continue to appeal to God to listen to you. By continuing to ask God, this is actually SHOWING that you have faith - you are committed to the outcome of this prayer, and God looks upon that favorably.
Also...do you ever just listen to your heart? Prayers, answered or not, should never be what one looks to for proof of God - sometimes not answering your prayer is God's answer to your prayer, does that make sense? One of the biggest cases for the existence of God, to me, is the fluttery, happy feeling I get in my stomach when I see something that I know is a pure creation of God. The feeling of remorse I get when I do something I know is wrong. The happiness of having helped someone when I do something I know is right. THAT is God.
I wish you luck, my friend. I will be praying for you.

DON"T GIVE UP!!!!! Times likek these are God's way of showing that he is testing your faith! If you pray, you might expect him to reveal himself to you, but you have to believe to see anything. God is not a fan of 'do this or else" and when you pray all you can do is have faith in your faith. Its like praying for patience and expecting all of a sudden to be patience when really God will give you an opportunity to be patient. Please don't give up...and defenitly don't think that he isn't there because I PROMISE you that he is!

I believe someday you will get your faith back. Sometimes we all go through times of doubt in life, but there always is tomorrow. So don't give up just yet, just keep believing. It's better to not loose that hope that faith can give us. I will pray for you, hope you feel better soon.

You need to stop thinking that if you see proof you will believe. You need to think of it the other way around. If you believe, you will see proof.
God is pleased when we have faith in Him. Think about it...aren't you pleased when your friends have faith in who you are? Once you read the Bible, believe that He is who He says He is, He will start to do many miracles in your life.
Believe me, I have seen many miracles from God. Too many to still think they are all coincidence. Just pray for God to open your eyes...if you are sincere in your prayer, He will show you Himself.

well if you are praying for things like a nintendo wii then you wont get any results.
if you atleast try, as in pray and praise him, you will most definately see a result. just believing in him is a sign that he exists. his love for you is another, just the thought of asking this question is another.
