help im afraid of having bad dreams after watching scary movies that my parents "force me to watch" like final destination 3 scared the heck out of me so did omen and i couldnt refuse it because i HAD to go, so can you please give me some advice on avoiding bad dreams

they force me becasue i cant stay home and they are going to watch a movie i sometimes say i dont want to see the scary movies because after i see them they "haunt" me...
trust me i told them i didnt want to see them they ignored me and made me go.........!

Wait, why do they force you to watch them? I used to have the same problem. Just try not to think and revisit that part in the movie and nothing will scare you.

I think you should make it known to your parents that you don't llike horror films. You don't have to say anything about that they make you scared, just that you don't like them.
You have to remember that the things that happen in movies are not real. They are meant to entertain you. There's no reason to hold the scary images in your head.

Same problem when I was younger. Friends all wanted to go to Friday 13th, Halloween, etc. I liked the movies, but had terrible nightmares after. Your best bet is to just talk to them, explain, and if they take you again, talk through the whole movie, fart alot, and spill your soda on them.
No, really just talk to them. Unless you really have to fart, then do it. Don't sit near me, 'cause I'll know it was you.

Bad dreams might be the least of your problems. Either you're joking[which I sincerely hope], or your parents should be arrested for child emotional abuse. Threaten to call social services if they don't cut it out.
