Drinking ice water burns more calories than drinking room temperature water because your body burns calories warming it. Shame it doesn't work the same way with ice cream! LOL

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

They say if you put ice in EVERYTHING you drink- you WILL lose a Pound a month, because your body will be burning calories just to re-warm itself from that drink. ... Now it JUST so happens- that I've ALWAYS put ice in everything I drink, & I weigh 5 pounds Less than when I graduated College- 30 years ago (& I NEVER have to Diet!). So try it out. It's an EASY way to drop a few pounds by this time next year... :)

Supposedly you burn more calories drinking cold water because your body has to warm it up first to absorb it properly. I heard this a long time ago, but I have never known if it was truth.

NO NO NO!!! Totally false. This is one reason americans are so fat! Most drinks we drink are frozen (slurpees, fraps) or they have ice in them.

When you drink ice anything, the cold will actually stop your metabolism for 1 hr. slow metabolism = weight gain!

On the other hand, drinking warm liquids do the oposite; speed it up!

Drinking/eating anything super cold is the worst thing you can do for your weight.

it can i suppose if you drink it all the time. reason is because the body needs to warm itself back up when you consume really cold foods/drinks. every notice that sometimes when u eat ice cream your body shivers? thats it working extra hard (in other words, burning extra calories) to keep you warm.

youll lose weight and fat if you walk 45 minutes a day not 30

possibly, because the ice would make it really cold in your body so you'd have to use some energy (calories) to warm up
