Only once. A Christian Zionist said my father's death in Hurricane Katrina was ok because it was god punishing the USA for the Gaza withdrawal by Israel. I steamed about it for days. And, he was sincere, not baiting. A real zombie.
I am hard to offend. Insults make me laugh. But that was way over the line, the casual dismissal like OJ saying "People die every day".
It's been brought into focus today because my best friend at work's father slipped, had a brain hemorrhage and is not expected to live. He's a good man, too.

Heretic,
I am honestly never offended any more unless my sugars are "out of whack". That happens quite often but I normally control my responses until I've had an opportunity to check and correct them. I am a Christian and I pray for assistance in this occasionally. Lately, I have not had that problem. I evidently irritated a young lady on my contact list yesterday. She emailed me twice and we rarely disagree on things even though we do not agree religiously but she became irate. I am hoping that things were not bad overseas. She is in the Military and I care for her a great deal. Have a wonderful New Years!!
Thanks,
Eds

I get offended very often. I hate the questions that are just meant to bash a group of people. The bigotry and prejudice here is offencive! I see the most horrid things said to people. I enjoy honest questions that just disagree with my beliefs, it's fun to have a mental challenge.

Not offended, but insulted and feeling sorry for the people, yeah. Some things do suprise me. This has to be the most contraversial section in Y! Answers though so offending someone is a given

I'm not, because I hear the same stuff at work all the time. We may be on the Internet but we are still real people. This is reality, like it or not and there is no need to be offended because as time goes on it's going to get worse.

Offended? Never.
Although I'll admit that I am often appalled by some of the goings on. I get over it pretty quickly though.

Meh, I usually try to come up with a ballsy comeback whenever I get offended. But it's actually pretty rare that I get REALLY offended here.
Now, the Nascar section is a different story...

Here in the R&S category - nothing. Long live Freedom of Speech. It will take more than a christian telling others they "will burn in hell" to offend me.
In the History category I get offended by the christians who assume that the bible is History, and continually ask questions that belong in this category.
If "Jesus" is History - then so is Zeus, Apollo, and Mars.

Never... I would be in a sad state of mind to be easily offended by something I read on the internet.

It has been a long time sense I was actually offended. There are some people who call themselves Christians that declare things that are not Biblical that bother me a little bit. But other then that. Nope.
