If I were you, I would start to look for green chili pork sauce in the Hispanic foods section. If I did not find it, I would ask the nearest grocery stocker for assistance.

First dry rub the ribs (McCormick's makes a good BBQ rub) let them stand for an hour. Preheat your oven to 325 and put the ribs on the center rack (on a baking sheet of course). You'll be cooking them for about 3 hours. Let them cook for 1 1/2 hours without opening the oven AT all. Then at the 1 1/2 hour mark, flip them with tongs and slather them with BBQ sauce. Flip them back over and do the top side. Back in they go for another hour. During the last 1/2 hour, sauce the heck out of them again. When they come out they will be falling off the bone, tender and delicious. My sauce may be a bit strong for you, but it's very basic, so you can play with it. about 1 1/2 cups ketchup 3 tablespoons white or cider vinegar (it's sweeter) 2 tablespoons dijon mustard molasses or brown sugar (molasses is WAY better) I just add this till it tastes the way I like garlic or garlic powder (if you don't like it, don't bother) salt and pepper minced onion or scallion (if you like) For a sweet sauce that will stun people, substitute 1/2 cup heated peach preserves for about 1/2 of the ketchup and add 2 tablespoons whiskey.

In the dry goods (canned) section - in the Spanish or mexican aisle if your store has one. It may say Chile Verde on the can or jar.
