Well Abraham went to kill his own son because God demanded it.

I think there must have been quasi sort of a quagimare that
he must been enbroiled in. I mean how can explain that, you know. A man who tried to extripate his own child, his own blood. I think the man must have been coerced to do such a thing. Because people typically will not kill their own child.

This query calls into question many aspects anant our own morally. How do we as people keep our own faith. Can we trust the man who has done such a thing. I mean the man must have gone through some contrite, right. I personally would not trust him, and never forgive him. I cogitate that the man should be castigated for killing his own child, because God would never forgive him, unless he has through extreme conpuchtion.

You have the right to remain silent. If you give up the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to have an attorney present during questioning. If you desire but cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you by the court. Do you understand these rights I have explained to you?

You ask this question in Religion & Spirituality? A place filled with people who worship a god that had his son killed? Interesting...

Personally, I think the guy should be put to death, just for the attempt.

To the man who tried to kill his own child: "Stop, in the name of the law!"

To those who want to keep their faith: "You can keep it."

where was the mother who most likely had several indicators she was with a hateful abusive man and was not protecting her child

and i would say nothing to him bc i feel people like that dont deserve human contact and nor should they receive any . but be left alone until we figure how to best dispose of them

I'd tell him to get counseling. He obviously needs to work out his issues in order to become a productive member of society.

Quran
006.140 Lost are those who slay their children, from folly, without knowledge, and forbid food which God hath provided for them, inventing (lies) against God. They have indeed gone astray and heeded no guidance.

017.031 Kill not your children for fear of want: We shall provide sustenance for them as well as for you. Verily the killing of them is a great sin.

I'd offer him sympathy, and point to the story of how Abraham almost killed his own child. See! Everyone wins!

I would tell him to repent, turn to Jesus, and I would hope that he would spend some time in jail-- also he shouldn't be allowed to see his child again.
