Do your legs also feel like creepy-crawlers in them, or tingling, or sometimes uncontrolled spasms? If so, you may have Restless Leg Syndrome, RLS. It is conrollable and will not cause a heart attack. It is prevalent in men over 40, though anybody can get it. I have had it for 2 years now & control it with Requip.
Do a little research or best yet, talk to your doctor. DO NOT just concentrate on something else. As far as having a heart attack, it will be your left arm that starts to numb, not your legs.

You are not having a stroke. You need to tell your friends your problem so they won't talk about things like this around you. Then you need to get some counseling. Good Luck and God Bless

I personally have ocd or obsessive-compulsive disorder and one of my obsessions or fears is illness and disease. I'm not sure if you have that diagnosis, but please do not hesitate in getting outside help. I received cognitive-behavioral therapy by a clinical psychologist and take the ssri antidepressant prozac which reduces the intensity and duration of the ocd symptoms. A clinical psychologist, licensed/clinical social worker (LCSW) and/or psychiatrist can diagnose mental health problems.

You're afraid of the WRONG thing. You're MUCH more likely to die of a Stress Induced Heart Attack from worry so much- than you are from ANYTHING else. So FORGET about living to be anyones "grandpa"- just try not to worry yourself into an even earlier grave...

I have had the same problem but then all you need to do is find something else to focus on. You will be all right, you sound like an all right kind of person to me. Hang in there.
