there was a cra that cut us off in our lane to get between our cars, and then slowed down fast causing an accident. we didnt have to pay, because we both had insurance, but because they had military insurance somehow our co. geico had to pay to fix thier car. this is all their fault, so how can our co. be billed when not at fault.

Your adjuster accepted liability for the accident.

Most likely, the other car did not admit to cutting you off and cutting your stopping distance. They probably said they were driving - slowed for traffic and you struck them in the rear. Most likely any police report that was filed says the same thing. With no way to prove otherwise - the adjuster did the right thing by paying the claim. You were found at fault for following too closely. You probably would have lost in court had they sued you.

It has nothing to do with who the insurance companies are.

OK your question is pretty much not understandable, with all the shorthand.

Your insurance company is not billed. YOUR ADJUSTER accepted liability for the accident - in other words, your insurance company has agreed that you ARE at fault.

It sounds like you were tailgating, and someone in front of you stopped suddenly, and you rearended them. Yep, that would be you at fault.

It has nothing to do with military insurance - as military vehicles do NOT have insurance. It has to do with fault - and the guy that rearends the other guy, is ALWAYS at fault.
