A CD-ROM course and then a test at an assigned location.

The certificate itself doesn't make you a millionaire. It's where you go with it. I think that real estate is a socialite's industry. The more you have the "gift of gab" the more money you'll make. If you're shy, this is an impossible job.

Depends on the jurisdication you live in. In my area both a course and on-the-job work experience (with a licensed person) is required. This takes up to 8 months.
