Your mom has a double standard. Parents are crazy like that.

Well of course you can't drive a car if you don't have a license! Your mom would stand to lose everything she works for if you had an accident and someone's life was lost.
Why don't you offer to go to the store with your mom and help her with the shopping - and them come home carry them for her from the car and help her unpack the grocieries. She may drive you to the movies as a thank you!
p.s. Wait a second - are you saying she let's you drive to WALMART for her purposes only? That is wrong and illegal - I wouldn't do it if I were you - tell another trusted adult about that ....that's crazy!

I would next time calmly tell her that what she is asking of you is illegal, and you will happily help her to do the shopping, and help her to bring in groceries, but in no way will you drive, she may ground you, she may yell at you, but I would calmly say it and then be done, if you get caught, you stand to be pu in jail, lose the ability to get you license, and have it on you record...it can also cost you later for insurance costs., I usually don't condone talking back to parents or going against them, but their are situations where it is warranted...and this is one of them. as for going to the movies.....I understand your confusion, you can drive to walmart, but not to the movies...confusing, however....you shouldn't be driving anywhere if you do not have a license.
as for those who have given a thumbs down to answers above like mine...I heartily hope you are not parents, I really hope that you would not condone his mother's behavior. and for those who gave the answer that his mother is probably trying to teach him to be responsible... do you have children? and where do you live? I want to make sure I don't move their with my children.

You're momma is wrong. It is not only a double standard, it is against the law on any day. She's not teaching you to be a good citizen.

You shouldn't be driving the car at all. Having no license means no driving!
I don't know why your mother would ask you to do something illegal. Not good.

weird, I don't think responsible, would be the answer here
If your mom was responsible she wouldn't give u the car under any circumstances because like she says 'u don't have a license' but then when she needs something she sends u because she's too lazy to do it herself
Some parents u just don't have an answer to, so u just better do what she says, lol

NO idea- your mom is wrong and that is a double standard not to mention illegal.
Edit:
You won't go to jail if there is an accident- but SHE will. Serious stuff.

Wow, that's a huge double standard. In my opinion she shouldn't let you use the car to go to the movies, but she definitely shouldn't be encouraging you to drive it to the shop for her either!
