Nope. My cats get the bed while my dogs get their pick of the floor, couch, or crates. I just can't fit an 85 pounder, a 60 pounder and a 40 pounder along with myself and my husband into a queen size bed. So, they either get the floor at the foot of our bed (with their doggy pillows), the couch in the living room, or their crates in the kitchen. Plus, my cats aren't too picky and don't try to hog the bed. One sleeps at my husbands feet and the other one sleeps at my feet. That way there's also room for my 2 year old son when he comes in at 3 o'clock in the morning to sleep with us. :)

I had two boxers who loved to jump up on the bed with me during the day at nap time, but slept beside the bed at night when hubby needed room. Now I have a doxie I adopted two months ago and he lives to burrow under the covers with me. My feet stay warm! My dobie and young boxer sleep between the bed and doorway ( no one gonna come in that room but family).

No. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but I don't let him just because I like my space, lol. He sleeps in his dog bed next to my bed.

All of them except a male I had that preferred the tile floor in the bathroom and a female that preferred the floor next to the bed, usually at the spot where I get out of it (do ya think she didn't want me to forget about her?). All the others have either slept at my feet or sprawled across a leg or an arm.

My MinPin sleeps under the covers at my feet. My husbands Bull Terrier sleeps on the bed with him until I come to bed and then she moves onto the floor where she has a bed on his side of our bed.
My Bull Terrier sleeps on her bed on my side.

ummm.... not USUALLY. But...

They have their own beds in the bedroom but sometimes they sneak up there. They know it's off limits so they're really sneaky sometimes.

I'ts a little harder for the 65# GSD to be sneaky but the 35# Cattledog has gotten to be the Stealth Master.

I don't think they take me seriously when I tell them "OFF" while I'm LMAO! :-)

No, my dog passed away last year. But she always slept by my bed, or in another bedroom, which she thought of as her own, on her own bed. Sure do miss her.

My Chihuahua Max Always sleeps with me my bed. I try to put him in his crate but he gets upset because I think he likes it in my bed better than In the excesize room.
