deep breathing exercises while visualizing a calm place. my place is at a church camp i've been going to for 20 years, sitting in front of the campfire. just focus on your breathing. exhale completely, then inhale slowly and deeply. do this for about 5-7 minutes and you'll be amazed at the difference it makes!
also, make some chamomile tea. not to drink, i think it tastes nasty... i just like to have some in boiling water. the aroma alone is enough to relax me.
