I have been counting calories for a really long time now. Making sure not to exceed 1200 a day which is the norm from my weight and height. However, the past few days (maybe because of the holidays) i've not been eating the healthiest.
Im just wondering if this is an ok way to eat for a day or so.. its been about 2 days.. and today i had..
Breakfast: yogurt
Lunch: 1 slice of plain pizza
(ran on the tred mill and burned 230 calories)
Dinner: South Beach 300 calorie chicken and broclie with apple sauce
Snack: SmartStart 90 Calorie Ice cream
that made me have a total of 1,090 calories for today. Is that an ok way of eating or should i change it?
I guess im basiclly asking your oppinion, but please be kind & thanks in advance for your help =]]

Question is are you getting enough vitamins, minerals, and protien with that diet?
I noticed no fresh fruit, Just yogurt for breakfast is not good either. You might want to add some fresh fruits like peaches, oranges, apples, etc to your breakfast menu for starters.
Just pizza for lunch ain't cutting it either you need some vegetables to go with that such as green beans, carrots, English peas, etc. No yellow such as corn though. Barring that a glass of V-8 juice. You can make it taste better using tobasco sauce if you like it hot, or Worchester sauce to vary the taste. Hint if you are not used to tobasco go light on it because that stuff will set you on if you are not used to it.
Snack looks ok> But might be better you switch from time to with something like Boost High Protien.
Supper not bad good idea to add fresh fruit or more green veggies to go with it, maybe carrots for your eyes.

As for the trend mill that ok as far as it goes. You might want to get some dumb bells to use and work out with them every other day, then trend mill every other day.
The main difference between working with weights for toning and muscle building is the amoung of weight, and sets.
When your are going for toning and stamia you use relatively light weights with a large number of reps and only one set. Set out light and work up in weight.
You are too obcessed with just your weight. You need to be concerned with your measurements more that just concentrating on how much you weigh.
Fat weighs less than muscle mass.
You can weigh 125 pounds and have measurements of 38-34-36,
Or a different person can weigh the same 125 pounds and have measurements of 33-22-36 for example.
Where the first person is out of shape and with a lot of body fat. The second person is in good shape with good muscle tone, with every little body fat.
Hope that helps.

Not bad. You should just add some fruit, like an apple, or veggies, like carrots or celery. Or, at least, some dark green lettuce with tomatoe. All of these are very low cal to keep you at the 1200 per day, but, these will give you more essential vitamins, minerals and fiber.
