I like fell on it, my R2 button has gone to hell, but i kinda do need my R1 button to play Assassins Creed, so um..Can it be fixed. I press it and it wont work. I even took off the R1 part and pressed down the button that it touched when its pressed and it wont do anything. Help me!!!

Yes, carefully disassemble it, see where the problem is. Sound like it came out from it's frame. Before disassembling, make sure, you have att tools at hand:
1). Small Philips screwdriver;
2). Glue for plastic (if the shell is broken);
3). Tweezers.

There is a spring you need to get back in there....there should be a little seat for it to fit into on the underside of you button that fell out. Make sure you unscrew the controller carefully before trying to get it back in, or you will lose all the buttons, also if you try and get it back in without unscrewing it, you run the risk of snapping the casing. If you do need to purchase one, you might as well go online and buy the new rumble style controller (dualshock 3), does the same as a sixaxis but with vibration too. i got one from japan which cost me £29 including postage. Well, if you can carefully disassemble the controller, look at the L1 and L2 buttons to see how they are supposed to work. Then try to fiddle with the R1 & R2 buttons so they work the same.

However, chances are you won't be able to fix it, at least not fully. You'll probably have to buy a new controller.
