If you can read this then I am not dead and therefore taking OTC pain killers has not been terminal to me. I often take advil with red wine or white wine if that is what's in the glass.
When you OD on OTC pain killers it is extraordinarily painful. You don't die but you wish for it. So I am told.
The best way to die is slowly over 70 - 100 years. The best part about this method, you can annoy the crap out of people for years.

Are you trying to commit suicide? PLEASE tell me no.
And the answer is not necessarily, but it happens. The number of times I've washed down a couple Tylenol PM's with a shot of Jack, a glass of wine or a couple beers... can't count on all my fingers and toes. It'll knock you flat for a good 8-16 hours though. Doesn't leave me nautious or achey, just groggy and drowsy.
How it affects your body depends on your body... a friend took an Excedrin and had a galss of wine and passed out about ten minutes later. The number of pills you'd have to take to kill you with wine is about the same that would kill you anyway (eg, a few bottles worth). You'd also probably throw it all up before you got there...

Well if your going for a Tylenol (acetaminophen) overdose, onset of symptoms would probably occur in 8-12 hours. Many prescription pain medications contain tylenol (percocet, darvocet, etc). You would have some severe gi upset, nausea, vomiting, sweating and maybe slip into a coma. However, in about 12-24 hours you could start to feel better and think the ride is over. Although, during this time your liver is working overtime handling all this tylenol. With enough alcohol and tylenol in about 3-5 days it really hits the fan. Basically speaking, your liver starts eating itself. Severe abdominal pain, blood clotting disorders, and confusion starts to occur. Not a very pleasant way to go. So don't try it.

This is not the best information to be asking for in public. More likely you will do some sort of debilitating damage to yourself.

No, but there are some prescription drugs, that are very dangerous with alcohol.
