I was 26 yrs old when I first trusted Christs finished work on the Cross for myself. I am now 61. Its been a wonderful journey and I can truthfully say, He just gets better and better.

I dont beleive I was ever saved. I wad raised in a church - and hated it most of the time. I prayed the sinners prayer when I was 8, but the first thought was - I prayed with my eyes open (I was reading the prayer) so that means I'm not a real christian. The church teaching about eyes closed during prayer was really thorough. So I didnt do anything. I tried reading the bible, but it was so boring. I punched a pregnant woman in the belly and she later lost the baby. I thought that made me a murderer. But apparently the baby would have been still born anyway. When I was 16, I prayed the prayer again, because the cute pastor asked me to - I had a huge crush on him. When I was 17 I was baptized, by the cute pastor, and 6 months later he left the church going overseas as a missionary. I was devastated, and by age 18, I wanted out of the church myself. so I quit. Thats my story.

Was never baptized and never will be since I have come to realize there is no proof of this "God". Basically I don't know if there is or isn't a God or god(Agnostic). So ya I was brought up to believe in God and I realized the truth(basically now at age 13). I think my Grandma will be furious.

Edit: How can somebody give me a thumbs down for my beliefs? That shows that you(whoever gave me thumbs down) cannot accept other people's religions. How rude.

I've always been a Christian because I was born in a Christian country (not that everyone's a Christian here, of course). That thing about being "saved" is a bit weird, though. The difference between me and most so-called Christians I see here is that I believe in peace, justice, fairness, compassion, understanding, love, while it seems to me that what these people are mostly concerned about is escaping hell and going to heaven, fear of sin and of God and all that, all these people who act like schyzophrenics when they interpret the Bible literally.

I was baptized when I was a baby and was christian until I was 22. Then I woke up one day, realized there's absolutely no viable evidence that Christianity ISN'T a fable, and dropped it like a hot rock on the side of the road.

I was saved when I realized Christianity was a complete lie leading people into stupidity, intolerance, and a waste of time.

Love your thumbs down!
