It is not fitting to dwell on dreams and to forget to carry on life.

I'm not English mother tongue and yr way to post the sentence is confusing me.
As far as I've understood I suggest
"Noli in somniis subsistere et vivendi oblivisci"
that's roughly "Don't linger over dreams and forget living"
