she is indoor 24/7 (unless we have a showing for our house then she's in the car.) she is small for her age (6 lbs) and she's had a little cough lately but she's gotten over that almost completely with natural meds.

A cats normal temperature is 100.5 - 102.5 Fahrenheit. Depending on the type of thermometer you're using and how you're taking the temperature (where did you put the thermometer??), you can get varied readings. Check the cats ears & feet & see if they feel cold. If you are concerned, you should call your vet. Good Luck! :)

Seems kinda low. Was he/she outside?
According to the Veterinary Information for Cats site, a cat's normal temperature ranges from 100.5 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cats have higher body temps than humans, so your cat is fine.I think a cat's temp should be around 100. Look for a cat not eating, throwing up, snot or runny eyes or diarrhea as signs that it is sick.

This site says the "average" cat's temperature is 101 to 102.2, but that it fluctuates and another site stated the average low is 100.5.

Obviously, your kitty isn't running a fever and it is also possible your thermometer is off. Ear thermometers are known to be inaccurate.

I'd say if the cat is eating and otherwise seems ok, he's fine.
