Reverend is a name that applies only to God Psalm 111:9 .He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.

A minister is an evangelist or one who tells the good news. He is a preacher also. These 3 words mean the same.

A deacon is a man who works under the oversight of the elders who takes care of such things as seeing that the widows are taken care of, administering the communion to those who cannot come to services.and various other duties. Read 1 Timothy to see about the work of deacons.

Deacon: an office[r] in the early Church. The spiritual and moral qualifications of deacons are outlined in 1 Timothy 3:8-13.

Pastor,Ministry, Reverend, [same office and title] is the Spiritual leader and teacher of the Church.

In a Evangelical Church there is two '' offices" Pastor and Deacon; << they are elected by the membership of the Church.

A reverend is a kind of minister. A deacon is an elected official within a church, but not an ordained minister.
