No. If you want the cats to stop using your yard as a bathroom you need to start using your yard as a bathroom. That will mark the yard as your territory and the cats will leave it alone.

I put a water and food bowl out for our strays and they don't poop on our property. Most animals won't poop near a food and water source.

In summer if you cut your grass short it stops cats from using the lawn (but it won't stop possums or raccoons), as they want longer grass to sort of cover the stuff. The wildlife doesn't seem to care though, they'll still use your lawn.

Cats will not leave if you feed them... they always come back.
