Ok, so I know we are not the only people that have had these thoughts but.....well, ok.....me and my boyfriend are planning on getting married by next Aug. we love each other very much and have had a very honest relationship from the start we have never kept anything from each other. I told him when we first got togeather that I liked girls as well and had dated a few(so I guess I am bi) well anyway I brought it up to him about being with other people as a couple. We have done it a few times now since I have told him(both men and women) and there has been no problems at all we are wonderfully happy but I guess I am just wondering I am weird or do we have an odd relationship?

Well it certainly isn't the norm. But there are couples out there that have open relationships like that. Some will look down on that type of lifestyle. But personally, I say whatever floats your boat. Just be responsible about it (std prevention/birth control) and don't lie to your partner-on-the-side.

What you and your boyfriend do with your relationship is your own business. But if you're planning on having a lasting marriage then you certainly need to be faithful to each other. The more people you let into your bed, the greater the chance for problems. If you want to do things right, leave the affairs at the door before you walk in to be married.

If you are fine with it then why do you care what we or anyone else thinks?
I like wearing basketball clothes and everyone thinks I'm a tomboy, but I don't go around asking if people care. You know why, it's because I'm happy and content wearing bball clothes...

But you must wonder if this truly makes you happy... right? You and your boyfriend are cheating on each other. It's organized cheating... to me, that's a lack of respect for self and the other person. It's not healthy and will most likely cause problems later on... but the choice is always yours!

i would suggest that there are a number of couples that do the same thing and its been around for a long long time --- i would not consider it odd (nor would i wish to engage in such a relationship) --- if you are both happy with it and it does not harm anyone then enjoy

I think you are both just using each other a swinging partners / friends. Your emotional relationship sounds like it is not mature enough for a serious committment.
