I got this girls number about 2 days ago. While she was telling me her digits, she started with a different area code. She said she moved here a while back but hasnt decided to change her sevice so she has kept the same out of state number but still lives here. So I call her number the next day and I get this "The number you have dialed is either out of service, has been changed, or has ben disconnected." How messed up is that? Do you think she did this purposley? I mean, the only reason I asked her for her number in the first place is because I know she likes me. What are your thoughts?

Did you dial the number right?? Using 1+(area code)
+the number?

If you dialed it right then either she meant to do it on purpose or she didn't know it was disconnected. And maybe the moment you dialed it she was in a place that didn't have the service she needed.

So, unless you end up talking to her you'll never really know. I'd just move on if I was you. It happens.

Yes. She did this on purpose. Time to move on.

In the future, girls will make sure they have a way of getting in touch with you if they really like you - whether it's your phone number, a myspace page, mutual friend, knowing where you work, etc.

Notice this isn't the case here.

if a girl likes a guy really likes a guy she will know what number shes giving out. also if she has had the number forever she knows what it is. it was an out of state number because she knew the number was disconnected. trust me she did it on purpose!

Hmm, could be a mistake or intentional. Does she have your number? If she does have your number and doesn't call, then you know it was intentional. You may just run into her again. Mention the wrong number and see what she says.

Women are known to sometimes give out fake numbers. Since you made an issue of her # it would seem odd for her to have given you a wrong one by mistake. My guess is you either got it wrong, or she lied...sorry.

Dont automatically think a girl likes you unless she tells you herself and its not a lie. That just makes you seem full of yourself.
Ive done it to guys before, we want you off our backs and a lot of guys will bug and bug until they get what they want.

Of course she did it purposely, she's a *****. If she didn't wanna give you her number, she should've just said no. On behalf of all the women in the world, I apologize.
