we tried something different this year. we had brats and lasagna. the lasagna we finished last night actually and the brats were gone on Christmas day. it was a nice change instead of having a big bird. but now my parents made turkey tonight. that will stay in the frige for a while while (lol) people pick at it and then my dad will make turkey soup. Yum!

There wasn't any left. My kids got at it Boxing Day and finished it off. I was looking forward to turkey sandwiches, dammit. So I'll cook another one for the New Year.

Just one suggestion for you and not trying to be lippy here...but why did you buy such a big turkey? Next year, buy a smaller bird and you won't be eating turkey through next Christmas.
