oh yes!
and brush them very well. You don't want any food or drink to settle into those areas around the braces. Your dentist should instruct you on how often to brush and may even give you a flouride rinse to use. Cavities love braces so brush brush brush.

yes and you are supposed to brush them really well. If your teeth are not brushed well there will be stains on them and one white spot where the braces were when they are taken off.

of course you can, i have braces and i have no trouple. obviously you cant push or pull them too hard so they dont fall off, but i use an ELECTRIC toothbrush on them and have abseloutly no problem. i wouldnt dream of never brushing my teeth for 2 years! (ewww!)
my orthodontist told me if i dont brush enough then when you get them off, you will have white spots on yellow teeth! not that pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
so dont DREAM of not brushing with braces on. that is the time u need to brush more, meaning between wires, flossing, etc.......

>.< Yes! you actually have to brush more!
Plaque and other nasty stuff grow around your braces so brush at least 5 times a day and ask your orthodontist for a little cleaning brush thingy that always helps!.

Good luck with your orthodontic journey!~

If your teeth fall out from lack of dental hygiene, it would defeat the purpose of having braces.
