Oh, yes. Paranormal investigating can be scary as hell sometimes, and I have never been more alive than when I'm looking for the dead lol. And, yes, although it has always been an interest for me ever since working in a haunted theatre as a teen, I never imagined that I could do it, until I saw a bunch of Roto-Rooter guys on tv living my dream lol. That was when I said if they can do it, no reason why I can't.

not really. The times I've felt most fulfilled is right after giving birth. I imagined I could do that but it was a little scary the first time, not so much the second and third times.

No. The most fulfilling times for me have been when I sought to understand something important for years, but failed, then through some small incident, I experienced a paradigm shift that took my breath away and left me reeling for weeks and changed my life forever after.
What you describe, however, falls in among the best. Moving to another country and immersing yourself in a different language and different culture changes your world completely.

Some of them. Others are things such as my wedding day, sex (not every time, but that would awesome if it were), playing with my dog, learning something new, completing a big project.
Right now I'm completely happy that we are finishing our kitchen. Yay for microwaves and cabinets! Who would have thought an over the range micro would be so fulfilling? :P :P

No. The most fulfilling time in my life came when I was on my knees in front of an altar at a Pentecostal house of worship. I realized that I had wasted my life up to that point. Now I am seeking the fullness of Christ with all my heart.

I like writing computer programs and when I finally come up with a new algorithm, then I am fulfilled. Scary has nothing to do with it.

Some of the most fulfilling times in my life have been those cases, but not all of them.
Sounds like you're getting ready to take some sort of big risk...

Ish. I suppose the ones where I got a sense-of-achievement fulfillment instead of just sheer gratification fulfillment.

Not for me. My most fulfilling times have been when I planned something and made the most of it.
