I love the look of long gloves because I think it is very elegant but here is the problem......I am getting married in June of next year. Think I should wear them or not??? The first picture is my dress that I will be wearing. The second image is the type of gloves I want.

Thanks!

I think the dress is elegant enough without the gloves. If it's extremely warm when you're getting married, the extra fabric may make you very warm. Plus you won't wear them during the reception. It's too much fuss to eat with gloves.

Have you tried wearing full-length gloves for a long period time? Many people find it uncomfortable, even if you aren't really doing anything.

Save your money and find a beautiful tiara or headpiece to compliment your dress instead of covering yourself with bridal icing. The gloves, in my opinion, would just be too much. =D

That dress is stunning!

Long gloves will make the look more formal. If that's what you want, it would be nice.

Personally, I think wrist gloves would be really pretty with that dress and would create more of a spring look, also appropriate for June.

Girl. The dress is GORGEOUS, and those gloves would look spectacular. I am also wearing gloves @ my wedding, but I am wearing the wrist length kind because my dress is not ornate enough to pull off the full length. But yours certainly is. If you are worried about the time of year, don't. People wear them all time of the year. Tres elegant.

Just my personal opinion, I think gloves are a little outdated. I mean if you really love the idea you should wear them, but I just think it's a little much.

Plus, don't you think it will be hot or at least uncomfortable to have gloves up to your elbows in june?

But, depending on the style and scale of your wedding, gloves may fit right in.

No to the gloves. That dress is beautiful- but very full and dramatic. You don't need to embellish it any more than it already is. Your arms will be competing with the dress, and you don't want that.

Keep everything else simple, or you will wind up looking overdone. The dress is statement enough.

I think your dress is absolutely beautiful!! I do not think it is necessary to add the gloves. There is SO much going on with your dress, it will only be a distraction, Not to mention, you will be sweating like a MOFO!!
I'm not sure wear you live, but I was a bridesmaid in a wedding in Philadelphia last June, and it ended up being 92 degrees that day. I NEVER in my life sweat like I did that day! And that wasn't even in half as much dress as yours!
You may want to also take into consideration that you may end up touching your face alot, and given the fact that you are wearing more makeup than normal... it may show on your gloves.
Just try to make yourself as comfortable as possible and enjoy your beautiful day!

I think the gloves go very nicely with the gown.Very nice if you are having a formal wedding at a formal setting.

I'm getting a dress similar to that one except in halter style and I think the gloves would look fine. I would go with the finger less ones so that your groom can get the ring on your finger.

your dress link doesnt work, but if you are getting married in a church it should be fine, I wouldnt if it were outside, just remember that you will have to put a ring on, they make gloves with little slits around the ring finger so it goes on better, but there is still material on the bottom of the finger.

It might be really warm in June, you'd have to take them off. I personally think with the dress you've chosen, the gloves would be too much for the dress.
