Some ibuprofen will help if taken on a regular basis. You have pushed your muscles beyond their capacity and now they are complaining. Soaking in a hot bathtub will also loosen up the tight muscles. Let them heal before going overboard again on the exercises.

I would think that your muscle has been pulled or torn...resulting in a terrible pain. I would soak the arm in warm water and dont use it as much until the pain goes away. also put an ice pack on it if it begins to hurt and if it doesnt go away go to the Doctors.

Use icy hot or tiger balm or any muscle heating creme. Use a small amount and massage it gently into the muscle. It will burn a little on the surface but it will end up feeling a lot better on the inside.

Try an OTC anti inflammatory like Advil (ibuprofen) - Tylenol does not have anti inflammatory properties - and apply heat.

Maybe you pulled a muscle while doing the push-ups, just let the muscle rest a while.

you over did it--it probably felt fine doing so but as usual if you are just starting again you have to go slow and work up ..try to rest it and use a heating pad--tylenol--wait a couple of days it will wear off..feel better..

Take some Tylenol and a hot bath. You'll have to be patient and give your body time to heal.

Try some bio freeze to help out. Just don't quit using it and let it stiff.
